Monkees’ replica up for sale
REMEMBER the Monkees? I’m too young to recall the TV show but I know the music and I’ve seen the car from the show. It was a customised Pontiac GTO convertible made by US custom car king Dean Jeffries. Another American customiser recently built a replica and it’s for sale. The car has been signed by three members of the Monkees and is estimated to fetch £75,000-£85,000, though that seems quite optimistic for what is essentially a replica. Cool looking car though.
