Michael Nesmith lines up another show, this time in Texas
The show Michael Nesmith did in Los Angeles on Aug. 19 won’t be the only one. He’s announced through Facebook he’ll make another appearance with the Watkins Family Hour in Marfa, Texas, a remote town in the Lone Star State, at a free concert at the Crowley Theater at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 21.
In announcing the show, Nesmith wrote that the theater holds only 175 seats and the town is very remote. “I recommend only the hardiest, most seasoned, well funded travelers attempt to come,” he wrote.
A meteor shower is also forecast for the night of the show, Nesmith also said.
The show is the season closer for the Gihon program for the performing arts is in conjunction with Marfalivearts.org. To reserve a seat, see this link.
