Micky Dolenz likens meeting the Beatles to a Royal encounter

The Monkees concert on Sunday night in Saratoga, CA., was filled with music and lots of anecdotes about the Monkees TV show and history.

Micky Dolenz told one interesting story about the band’s trip to England. He said they were going to meet “the other Royal Family.” “Oh, you mean Princess Margaret?,” said Peter Tork. “No, the Beatles,” Dolenz said.
