Missing Links to play tribute festival

The Monkees tribute band The Missing Links will be playing a tribute festival.

On May 23-26, 2014, as many as 25,000 concert-goers and campers are expected to descend onto a 10,000 acre private resort know as Vail Lake for Southern California’s biggest Memorial Weekend Music & Art Festival known as VAILOCITY!

Vailocity will be an event like no other before it. The musical entertainment will be the largest collection of tribute acts ever assembled. It will be a weekend back-in-time with recreations of the greatest concerts in history, dwarfing all previous tribute festivals including Santa Clarita andGlastonbudget in England by more than double the acts. Vailocity will be featuring 50 of the greatest tribute bands in the USA. The line-up will run daily for four days on two giant stages overlooking the beautiful Vail Lake. The weekend’s entertainment promises something for everyone! Friday Night will feature acts that rocked the ’60s. All day and night Saturday will feature acts from the ’70s. Sunday will feature acts from the ’80s & ’90s. The Monday finale will feature tributes to the greatest Country & Western acts. On Saturday and Sunday evenings, we will be opening up the “Mellow Stage”, featuring the best in light, rock, swing and country, as a little something extra for those wanting to decompress from the days activities.

Vailocity is a family friendly event with plenty of games and activities for the kids. Vail is a full use lake with fishing, boating, swimming and all other watersports.

Vail Lake is also a world famous campground. A variety of camping options will be available including full hook-up RV spots as well as basic RV and tent camping as well.
