Official NYC Davy Jones Memorial – April 3, 2012
BB Kings in Times Square NYC
General Admission
Hosted by Cousin Brucie
All proceeds will benefit a rescue horse ranch in Arizona that Davy loved.
Organized by Davy’s long time friend and drummer Sandy Genarro, sanctioned by the family of Davy Jones and in attendance his full touring band, past band members and “special guests” present a rocking night of music and memories.

My understanding is that all of the Musicians that have backed The Monkees (collectively and individually) on different tours will be invited as well as just about everyone that had any personal or professional involvement with Davy.
Update:
We have been asked who will be appearing at the Official memorial evening. The organizers are not confirming guests at this time. While several special guests are scheduled, It is important to make sure people understand this about David and memorializing his life.
Cousin Brucie is the MC, and some of David’s family will be there.
The Davy Jones Band a/k/a the Monkees 2011 touring band, is the house band.
There will be special surprise guests and multimedia tributes. It will
be a very special, very intimate night with those who loved David and
were a part of his life in music and elsewhere.
There will also be very special event merchandise available, and all
proceeds go to care of David’s horses. All 16 of them.

I so wish I could be there to pay my respects. I miss him so much! I would like to send a donation to the horse ranch in Arizona in Davy’s name, does anyone know who that is?
It just kills me not to be able to go. My heart just broke loosing Davy. Please post the address for donations, I agree that at least those of us that can’t go to the Memorial can still contribute in some way. Thanks Kccollins for the suggestion!
Really wish I was able to attend this memorial for Davy. Would have wanted to pay my respect to him. I will surely miss Davy — it just broke my heart after hearing of his passing. If there is an address or website for donations — please post. God Bless!
