Concert Update

David’s Jones’ upcoming concert on July 30th at the Novi Expo
Center in Michigan.

The concert will take place there, but it’s part of
an event that’s being run by the Music and Motor Fest. The contact for
purchasing General Admission Tickets is their website:

Single day tickets, that will cost about $20.00, will go on sale on July
1st. That’s the day the website will have all the correct information; it
currently doesn’t. I’m guessing that the Music and Motor Fest phone, which
has recorded messages now, will be interactive by then, too; their number
is (248) 349-1950.

The Music and Motor Fest website currently does provide a lot of
information about their event. David’s appearance is on the last day of a
5-day outdoor festival, Thursday-Sunday July 26th-30th, that will also
feature performers Eddie Money, America, Peter Noone with Herman’s Hermits,
and the Little River Band, one show a night, as well as a mini-grand prix
race, a car show and cruise (parade), carnival rides, arts and crafts, a
food court, etc. There’s also a website page on the activities on July 30th
with a biographical paragraph and the black & white photo of David on the
cover of “Davy Jones: Daydream Believin'”. But the website also contains
mis-information that David’s show is free and only for ages 21 and older.
Luckily, I called the Music and Motor Fest at (248) 349–1950 and left a
message. A representative called me back; that’s how
I found out about the website errors, the approximate ticket price and that
single day ticket sales will begin on July 1st. (Tickets for all 5 days
will be sold sooner.) I was also told that the artists will perform for
about 1-1/2 hours each and there will be no age limit on attendees of
David’s show. It sounds like fun.

Brad I’m sorry to have to tell you this, but I was wrong. The interview
will not come out in Goldmine until the first of June. Where I got my info
was from the guy that did the interview, he was thinking that it would be in
the June issure which came out the other day, Goldmine, and him got there
dates mixed up. Please send another alert telling people that it wont be
out until June, and that I was wrong. Thank you.

By the way, I have heard the interview, and it is very good. When he gets
done with editing, maybe I can help him put it up on realaudio on a web site
somewhere. Thanks again….
