Happy holidays to all Monkees fans!
As you probably know, I run the Monkees.Net web site and the Monkees.Net
Alert Newsletter for free, and I always try to come up with creative (and
mostly free) ways to pay for our web server, bandwidth and so forth. I hope
you will all support me with this one!

How do you get a ticket to this raffle? It’s simple and free and will only
require a few minutes of your time. There is a new person to person payment
service (similar to Paypal.com) which very much wants you to sign up, so
much so that they are offering you $10 to open your account. They also pay
me a fee for referring you to them.
It’s called C2it and it is operated by Citibank, one of the largest banks
in the country. There will be a sign-up screen which will ask for some
personal information, but they use all of the most advanced security tools
to make sure your information remains private in their system, none of it
comes to me.
All you need to do is click this link:
http://www.qksrv.net/click-913436-3370184
Sign up for the service, then the $10 balance will be added to your account
within 2 days. When it arrives click “Send Cash” and send $1 from your
balance to this e-mail address:
Then you can do what you want with the remaining $9 in the account,
transfer it to your bank, withdraw via check, pay it to someone else, use
it for eBay auction payments, send it to me (if you are feeling
particularly generous!), whatever you like. Each $1 entry will buy one
ticket to win the raffle. Overseas readers may be able to use the service –
we will ship the prize anywhere – check the web page for details on
supported countries.
You can use this service to send last minute payments for Christmas
presents to friends as well! It’s totally free to use, no service charges
or fees on sending or receiving money within the USA.
If you cannot use the c2it service because you live outside the USA, or you
are under 18 years old, please use paypal.com to e-mail raffle purchases to
the e-mail listed above. If this does not work for you, you can mail a
check to this address:
Monkees.Net Raffle
581 W. 4th St. #99
Benson AZ 85602-6501
I hope you all enjoy this contest, the deadline for entry is January 10,
2001 (recently extended). The winner will be picked by random number from
all entries and announced on January 15, 2002. Please – tell your friends!
If you have any questions, please contact me at the e-mail address above.
Thanks very much for making time for us this season, we appreciate your
support of our free services and keep Monkeeing around!!

A friend told me about this this morning, so I thought
I’d share it. It’s found in the Fresno Bee in the Real
Estate area:
Monkee Dolenz swings into new home
Los Angeles — Micky Dolenz of the Monkees has
purchased a West Valley home for just less than $1
million.
Dolenz also put his former home, in Sherman Oaks, on
the market at $625,000.
His new home is on an equestrian property in a guard –
gated community. It has four bedrooms in about 3,000
square feet.
Built in 1985, the Spanish Mediterranean-style home is
on more than an acre and has valley views and a pool
with a spa.
The home he is selling has four bedrooms in about
2,200 square feet. The 1950 house, behind gates, has a
fireplace and decks with a spa and city views.
Dolenz, 56, has lived in the Sherman Oaks home since
about 1992.
Thanks,
Chrissy
