Brad,
I just wanted to let you know that Micky Dolenz was at the May 4th Paul
McCartney concert at the Staples Center in L.A.
I saw him walking in wearing a leather jacket and accompanied by his
girlfriend (I presume). His seats for the show were in the first row off
the floor a few sections back from the stage. He seemed relaxed and no one
was really approaching him. There were so many other celebrities there
including Jack Nicholson, Tom Cruise, Cameron Crowe, Ray Liotta, and many
others. The show itself was amazing. Paul rocked!
It was a lot of fun to see a Monkee attending a Beatle’s concert! 🙂

Jones was there to sign his new book, Daydream Believin’ and the size of the
crowd waiting to meet him was unbelievable. People were being turned away!
The signing was scheduled from 6 to 8 p.m. I was in line from 6:45 to almost
9 before I got to meet him and there were still quite a few people behind me
and Davy stayed until all the fans who were waiting in line got to meet him.
Davy was so wonderful to all of us! He signed as many items as people wanted
him to sign and took time to talk to every single fan. There were people of
all ages there. My nephew, who is 3, is a huge Davy Jones fan and it was
such a thrill for him to get to meet Davy. He will never forget it! I
enjoyed my experience meeting Davy, I have loved him since the day the
Monkees hit the airwaves when I was a kid. We will be at the show in
Louisville May 25 and look forward to seeing Davy and Micky. God bless you
Davy Jones! You’re the best!!
