**Peter Tork Appears On Album**
Peter Tork & his good friend, James Lee Stanley, can be heard on a
new album by the North Carolina based group, Aura. The album will be
released in the first week of September and they will be featured on
a brand new cover version of the Monkees tune, “For Pete’s Sake,” as
well as another song called, “Work It Baby.” For information on
purchasing the CD, stay tuned to Aura’s website. Aura will also be
the opening act for Peter & James’s private performance at the
Lewisville Lawn Party, which is reportedly being filmed for cable &
as a possible future release.
**On TV**
Micky Dolenz’s appearance on “Boy Meets World” will be shown on the
Disney Channel on August 20 at 5pm EST and August 21 at 12am
EST. “Malpractice,” a movie directed by Micky will air on Lifetime
on August 21 at 2pm EST. The Monkees will be featured on the TRIO
special, “The Scream!! Heard ‘Round The World” on August 16 at 10pm
EST and August 17 at 1am EST. The show focuses on teen idols and
their fans. TV Land will repeat it’s program, “TV’s Top 40 Theme
Songs,” which features The Monkees on August 19 at 8pm EST. The
Monkees are also included in VH1’s special, “100 Greatest Moments
That Rocked TV: 40 – 21,” on August 28 at 4pm EST. “50 Greatest Teen
Idols,” which will air on VH1 on September 6 at 10pm EST, ranks Davy
Jones at number 43.
**Uncut Live DVD Sales Update**
The latest update on the status of the “Monkees – Live Summer Tour –
Extended & Uncut” DVD is proof that if we keep at a steady pace, we
will reach the 500 orders that are needed to produce the DVD. We
have now reached over 200 pre-orders, but are not quite at the

Radio in New York City)
P.S. I saw a live Davy solo show two weeks ago here in Westbury, NY.
It was off the hook!!!! Excellent voice at fifty five plus
something.
