two winners!

on sale now!! Two shows a night on Friday 30th of March and Saturday
31st of March, sorry didn’t ask about the other days, $51.50 per ticket.

Day-ting Game’

Heartthrob of the 60’s Will Try to Join the Hearts of 12 Contestants On
Valentine’s Day at Dave & Buster’s in Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA, Feb. 6 /PRNewswire/ — Original boy-band singer Micky
Dolenz of “The Monkees,” will play the role of “cupid” at the Sixth Annual
102.9 MGK Valentine’s Day-ting Game on Wednesday, February 14, in the Dave &
Buster’s Showroom on Delaware Avenue in Philadelphia. Admission to the
showroom is FREE.
The game begins promptly at 8 p.m., but doors will open at 7 p.m. for
audience seating and a complimentary buffet.
The 102.9 MGK Valentine’s Day-ting Game will feature three live parodies
of the classic TV game show with one of the winning couples receiving a
grand prize package that includes a trip for two to Aruba. Singles, as well as
couples, are invited to join members of the WMGK Air Force for a
laugh-filled evening in which 12 lucky bachelors and bachelorettes will have
the opportunity to ask and answer an assortment of questions focusing on
love, romance and a variety of other exciting topics. Audience members will
have the chance to win dozens of exciting door prizes including a DVD
player, an MP3 player and more!
The contestants for the 102.9 MGK Valentine’s Day-ting Game were chosen
by a panel of judges through a process that included submitting a creative
poem and taking part in a personal interview.
Micky Dolenz is currently rehearsing with fellow Monkees Davy Jones and
Peter Tork for a forthcoming reunion tour of America. The Monkees are
scheduled to perform at the Trump Taj Mahal on March 16th and 17th.
102.9 WMGK is Philadelphia’s Classic Hits Station.

Smash Mouth A ‘Believer’ In Neil Diamond

(2/6/01, 6 p.m. ET) — Smash Mouth will be covering the Neil Diamond
classic, “I’m A Believer,” for the upcoming DreamWorks animated flick,
Shrek. The song will appear in the movie and on the accompanying soundtrack.
“I’m A Believer” is perhaps best known as one of several hits for ’60s pop
act the Monkees

. Smash Mouth’s own massive success story, the hit single, “All Star,” might
also be featured in the film, according to the band’s official website
(smashmouth.com).

Meanwhile, Smash Mouth is scheduled to return to Los Angeles this week to
rehearse new songs. The group plans to roll tape again on the follow-up to
its 1999 effort, Astro Lounge, as early as Friday.
