Introducing 7a Records!
Our aim is to release obscure, rare, live or previously unreleased packages of songs or artists connected with The Monkees.
The two men behind 7a Records, Iain and Glenn, are both huge Monkees fans and we want to share our passion and enthusiasm by bringing you the best releases at an affordable price.
We both have a real enthusiasm for the group and as fans, we want to make sure every vinyl record, CD or digital download we release is of the highest quality and something you definitely need for your collection.
Our first release will be ‘Micky Dolenz – The MGM Singles Collection’ which is due in summer of 2015. This beautiful package will set the tone for all future releases. It is 180gm coloured vinyl, in a gatefold sleeve featuring previously unseen photographs from the collection of legendary rock photographer Mr Henry Diltz. The album comes with a 12 page booklet and all but two of the songs have come from the original mix down master tapes.
We are currently looking at a series of projects which will be sure to excite any Monkees fan or any fan with an interest in 60’s, 70’s and 80’s pop.
